Features

Zero projection top and bottom and only 20mm lateral.
Projection on hinges stops them interfering with brickwork and plaster lines.
Sash-lifter as standard on windows 651mm high and above, ensures a smooth location time after time.
Anti-mishandling device and anti-slam as standard.
Sash weight up to 120KG (80KG as standard). Manufactured to EN ISO 9001:2000.
High security (BS7950) concealed and arched versions available to special order.
Tilt restrictor available (suitable for square edged profiles only).

Face plate, rear drive track, cover plate - Cold Rolled mild steel conforming to DIN 1624. Material Specification numbers 1, 0030 and 1, 0333. Complying with the dimensional standard DIN 1544.
Locking cams - Machine steel conforming to DIN 1651. Material specification numbers 1, 0718 and 1, 0737. Complying with the dimensional standard DIN 1544.
Lockcase, Mushrooms and Striker plates - Zinc Die-cast from Zamac Z410 complying with DIN 1743. Material specification number 2141.
Spindle follower - Die-cast from sintered powder steel D30 in accordance with DIN 30910 parts 4 - 6. D30 is the standard according to the material specification sheets of the community of powder metallurgy.
Drive Strips for Corner Elements and Centre Locks - Austenitic Stainless Steel conforming to DIN 17224, material specification number 1.4310.
Protective coating - Zinc plated / silver passivity / wax coated finish. Tested in accordance with ISO9227:1990, BS7479:1991 and DIN 50021/SS for 360 hours in a salt spray environment.

Testing and Accreditation

All components used in the manufacture have been 1000 hours salt spray tested at an independent UKAS test laboratory to BS EN 1670: 1998 and have exceeded grade 4 classification for ultimate corrosion resistance.
Tested to over 30,000 cycles under operational load.
Has attained BS7950 across a comprehensive range of window systems.
Has Secured by Design accreditation.
Has BBA accreditation, certificate No. 2769.
As manufacturers Trojan are BS EN ISO 9001: 2000 accredited.

Product Material Specifications

Zinc diecast components - ZA2 with Zinc passivate finish.
Stainless steel parts are - 430 S17 or 304 stainless steel.
Gearbox reverse gears - Carbon steel 70 (CS70).
Plastic parts are glass reinforced Nylon 66.

Re-handing the Latch - Locate the screw situated in the middle of the latch and then simply unscrew the latch and replace in the desired handing, then replace the screw.
Protective Coating - Triklad: Silver Triklad is an upgraded plating specification giving products 240 hours neutral salt spray, meeting the requirements on BS7412 Grade 4. The finish is also Chromium Hexavelent 6 free, meeting the latest European (green) specification.
Accreditation - Lockmaster is designed to meet and exceed the requirements of BBA, ABI, PAS23/24 and the latest CEN European security and performance standards. Cycle tested to BS5872. Corrosion resistance conforms to BS7412. BBA Assessment Report No. Lock Master Locking Mechanism Certificate No. S2/42984.
